A burner fan is an essential part of your pressure washer burner system.
Diesel-fired, hot water pressure washers require an accurate ratio of fuel to air for the fuel to ignite and burn correctly. The burner assembly includes parts required to move the fuel, including the fuel pump, fuel solenoid, tubing, and the burner fuel nozzle. The air is handled by the burner fan, and the intake vents on the air ring force a draft through the air tube, allowing for proper ignition of the diesel fuel.
A damaged burner fan, also called a blower wheel or squirrel cage, will no longer be balanced, and can cause damage to other burner components, as well as prohibiting the diesel from igniting correctly.
