This 8.704-196.0 Red Pressure Switch is commonly found on higher pressure hot water pressure washers. Its primary function is to allow the burner system to ignite when high pressure water is sensed through the system. Releasing the trigger gun will cause the burner to shut down until the trigger is pulled again. Rated for use up to 5800 PSI and 165 Deg F, this pressure switch has a 3/8 inch male inlet, 16 amp max draw, 44 inch wire, and all stainless steel construction. Switching pressure is at 640 PSI.
